Jou's Custom Jutsus

Name: Bakuhatsu (Wind eruption)

Description: This is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the wind element. The user makes two hand signs and strikes the ground with a fist. This transfers built up wind chakra underground, which the user directs towards a target, erupting it beneath them. The ground can crack or expand as this attack travels through it.

Name: Senpuu (Whirlwind)
Rank: B
Description: Using the wind element, this ninjutsu technique begins when the user makes the correct hand signs. He or she then spins in a simliar fashion to the Hakkeshou Kaiten (Eight Divination Palms of the Hand, Heavenly spin), only with a wider are of effect and a more powerful spin. The user forcefully leaks wind-natured chakra from their body as they spin, causing a whirlwind to whip up around them. This can be used defensively or offensively.

Name: Risutoa (Restoring shock)

Description: This simple Ninjutsu technique uses the lightning element. The user internalizes a small electric shock. Doing very little damage, it is very effective at waking the user from a Genjutsu.

Name: Doutsuu (Electric conduction)
Rank: C
Description: Doutsuu is a Ninjutsu technique using the lightning element. The user channels lightning-natured chakra into a metal weapon (kunai or shuriken for example). When the electrically charged weapon hits something, it deals additional lightning-based damage.

Name: Jinsoku suji kashaku (Rapid muscle torture)

Description: This technique requires knowledge of the body’s pressure points (small areas upon the human body that are far more receptive to pain than any other). The user digs their finger(s) into a pressure point and releases an electric shock. Even with a low level electrical current, the pain spreads throughout the body from the weak point and causes extensive damage. The target’s muscles will begin to spasm and he or she will likely lose control of their ability to move. However, the effect only lasts as long as a current is being applied (the subject can regain control shortly after the current stops).

Name: Shougekiha (Shock wave)

Description: The user crosses their arms in front of their torso and gathers lightning natured chakra into their arms. When enough chakra has been gathered, the user throws their arms back to their sides and releases the chakra. It travels, in the form of a large waves of electricity, towards the opponent at a high speed. When it connects, the target it forced against it as it continues traveling. All the while, the subject is having the intense electric current run through their body. When the attack fades, the subject is released from its "grasp".

Name: Kitsunibi (Foxfire)

Description: The user makes a claw shape with one hand and gathers light-natured chakra in the gap. The chakra can be released in a fist-sized star (ball of light). It can be completely controlled by the user, providing light and occasionally a distraction. It has been known to be used to mislead travellers. In combat, it can strike the enemy once, bursting on contact. This does little damage but jolts the target.

Name: Furea (Flare)

This is a simple Ninjutsu technique that uses the light element. The user focuses light-natured chakra to their fingertip, causing it to erupt in bright yellow-white light. This can be used to blind opponents or as a signal to other shinobi. The area of effect is about 10-15 metres around the user - it can be avoided. The effect lasts a few seconds more than an average flash grenade - 8-10 seconds.

Name: Ito-Ame (Light thread-rain)

Description: The user concentrates light-natured chakra to their fingertips. Making a sweeping motion with their hand (or hands), they then release the chakra in fine threads that speed towards the target. Their movements can be controlled to a certain degree by the user (like chakra threads with puppets, only nowhere near as much control). The threads cut and pierce the target and deal additional light elemental damage.

Name: Hisan kyohaku (Shooting star)

This is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the light element. Jou developed it by combining his Light thread-rain and Foxfire techniques. Jou will make the necessary hand sings and clasp his hands together. Light rapidly expands inside the clasped hands, eventually forcing Jou to release them. At this point, the light takes on the shape of three large stars, that fly towards the target leaving a yellow-white trail leading back to Jou’s hands.
Each star can be independently controlled as it flies. When the stars strike the target, they compress and then explode in a shower of light particles. Each hit forces the subject back, deals explosive light damage, and dazes/stuns the subject.

Name: Kussetsu-ato (Refraction sign)

Jou can engrave or inscribe the word "refraction" onto an object. By concentrating light-element chakra into the symbol, the effect of his Kussetsu technique will be applied to the object - effectively rendering it invisible.

Name: Taiyou doragon (Sun dragon)
Rank: A
This Ninjutsu technique utilizes the light element. After making the appropriate hand signs, Jou extends his hands (palms-forward) in front of him. Marble sized light particles will stream from his hands, coalescing into a dragon shape behind him. When the dragon is complete, it will rush towards the target and ram into him/her. It will then encircle the target and explode, causing major damage to the recipient and temporarily blinding them. The dragon’s direction can be controlled as it flies.

Name: Kussetsu (Light refraction)

This is a Ninjutsu technique that uses the light element. The user bends light around them making themselves the same colours and patterns as their surroundings. This "camouflage" changes when the scenery changes, and so the user is effectively invisible. The effect can last as long as the user has chakra, but it can be quite draining under stressful circumstances as it requires precise chakra control to maintain.

Saishuu Arashi (Final Storm)

Description: Most likely Jou’s strongest jutsu, it took him the best part of two years to develop. Jou first channels wind-natured chakra into his hand. When enough has gathered, he adds lightning-natured chakra. This envelops his hand in 'stormy' chakra. Jou strikes his target with this hand. There is a slight pause as the chakra gathers for release. The chakra leaves Jou's hand, and covers the target, lacerating and shocking him/her. Shortly after, the force of the attack causes a huge explosion, sending the target hurtling away. Obviously, the technique uses a large amount of chakra.

Name: Ni-sochi dageki (Two-step strike)

Description: The user sweeps the feet from under their opponent, but plants their foot solidly in the ground before the sweep is completed. In the same movement, as the opponent is falling backwards, the user turns behind their opponent and releases a fast, powerful kick to his/her back.

Name: Tsuin dageki (Twin strike)

Description: Exactly the same as the Ni-sochi dageki, except a Kage Bunshin mirrors the user's movements. (User completes combination on left or right half of target, Kage Bunshin completes combination on the other half).

Name: Shuriken sankaku (Shuriken triangle)
Rank: C
Description: The user delivers a side-punch that will send the target away from them (left or right). Using this distance, the user then throws multiple shuriken at the target, following on behind the projectiles. Once the shuriken attack is over, the user repeats this move twice more, with some variation in the strikes. Because of its three stages, it was given the name 'triangle'.

Name: Tori rendan (Bird combination)

Description: The user sends the opponent into the air with a powerful kick. At this point, the user will create a small updraft around themselves (Wind-element required) to sustain the following moves. He or she then leaps to reach the subject, kicking them again and again, sending them higher and higher. Once high enough, the user places their hands on the target’s shoulders and lifts themselves up above them. The user flips to gain momentum and just before the flip is completed, strikes the opponent towards the ground with a protruding foot (or feet). The target is sent rocketing into the floor.

Name: Tsuin-chourui rendan (Twin birds combination)

Description: Exactly the same as the Tori rendan, except a Kage Bunshin mirrors the user's movements. (User completes combination on left or right half of target, Kage Bunshin completes combination on the other half).

Name: Tsuiraku Rendan (Crashing combination)

Description: The user strikes the target with a full-force blow (heavy punch of kick), lifting them just off their feet and sending them flying (in the direction the attack sent them). The user runs at extreme speed to overtake their target as they fly through the air. The user waits with a strong stance and an elbow jutting out, which the target flies into. The user then delivers a powerful kick aiming to leave the target up against a wall, tree or large rock etc. Lastly, the target is hit at point blank range with a Gale wind palm, crushing them against the structure they are leaning against. It was given its name immediately after its first use, in a forest. From above, one could see where the attack had begun and ended, because of the wake of environmental

Name: Mabushii tonsou (Radiant Escape)

This is a Genjutsu technique that utilizes the light element. If Jou comes under attack, he can use this technique to cover his escape. After forming the needed hand seals, Jou’s body will disperse into a shower of large light particles. These particles will confuse and distract his opponent while he escapes or hides. destruction (fallen trees, shattered rocks etc.).

Name: Taiyou Chounin (Solar sealing)

Description: With his Kekkei Genkai active, Jou raises his body temperature to an almost immeasurable level. He forms three elemental seals on his hand – wind, lightning and fire. The wind, lightning and fire seals form a triangle on Jou’s palm. Concentrating the heat he generates into the three seals, he then strikes the opponent on either the torso or back, searing the seal into their flesh. The Solar Seal prevents access to 70% of the target's chakra until it is unsealed. It can also be used to seal 'minor' demons ('minor demons', not Bijuu-level demons, for example).
